Local Business Supporting Local Business

May 9, 2013

The Wild Ramp has enjoyed a huge outpouring of community support in the last year. Community support is the only reason The Wild Ramp could begin, and it is the only reason that it continues and thrives. Business’ and individuals have donated equipment, supplies, produce, art, and more to the market.  Friends of the Market donate money, and many of them volunteer their time.  Business’ back us through their corporate sponsorship, grants, and purchases. It is a beautiful thing.

Chris Miller, of  Dutch Miller Kia, has been a great supporter of  The Wild Ramp. You might even say he has been our cheerleader. (Check out the latest commercial currently on the Dutch Miller Kia Facebook page.) Early on they sponsored us as a corporate sponsor. Last Saturday, Chris Miller volunteered in the market.

Looks like Chris can sell meat too!

Now, Chris Miller and Dutch Miller Kia have something even bigger in mind to help The Wild Ramp.  In honor of our upcoming one year anniversary, they have  offered to give The Wild Ramp a van to use for pickups and deliveries.  It’s a one time thing that will make a HUGE difference to our market!

There is a small string attached to this gift.  The Wild Ramp  can “buy” the van from Dutch Miller Kia for 1,000 new Facebook likes for their page.  Why would Dutch Miller Kia do such an awesome thing? Dutch Miller Kia is giving a van to The Wild Ramp for the children, their health, for the farmers and for our future! What are you going to do?

The page started at 594 likes. We need to reach 1594 to “buy” the van. We are almost half way to that goal of 1000 new likes for Dutch Miller Kia. So, you want a quick and easy way to support The Wild Ramp? Click on Dutch Miller Kia and then click like! Like a  local business (Dutch Miller,) that supports a local business (The Wild Ramp,) that supports lots of other local business’ (the over 75 farmers and producers of The Wild Ramp.) Then spread the word!

DMK van page.
