What does organic really mean?
Have you ever wondered the difference between “all-natural” and “organic” on food labeling? Farmer Julie of The Potager, will share her knowledge on organic labeling to make you a more informed consumer. Julie is one of a handful of fully certified organic vegetable producer in West Virginia and will share her knowledge of organic labeling. This summer she wowed us with beautiful tomato bouquets, greens, and other lesser known edibles.Class $10 or Friends of the Market $5.

Community Helps a Farmer Day – Tyler Creek Farm

Many hands make light work!Come join us at Tyler Creek Farm in Kanawah County Saturday February 16th. The address is 237 Figgatt Lane, 25313. Go to the Events section on The Wild Ramp’s Facebook page for the best directions and more details! We will be working on planting seeds, high tunnel beds, and various other farm tasks. Lunch and drinks will be provided. Hope to see you there!

    Is this on Feb 16 or 23? The header says one thing and the article says another. Thanks.

      There actually are Help A Farmer events both days but the one on the 16th is fully covered. The one on the 23rd can still use more hands. Sorry for the confusion. Meanwhile, the Jeni’s ice cream event on the 16th still has room!
