Calling for Recipes!!!!

REQUESTING: The WILD RAMP MARKET COOKBOOK RECIPE SUBMISSION

Today the Wild Ramp, a Local Food Market located in the Shops at Heritage Station invites you to submit up to five favorite recipes for a Wild Ramp Cookbook.

Recipes should be the kind that people eagerly ask you to prepare for a pot luck meal or family favorites.  They can be recipes you have cooked for years or a new dish that turned out well.

They should be a “whole foods” concept as much as possible. We know many people use some prepared items and that may be fine. to include, depending on what it is. We want to avoid highly processed items in general while encouraging people that cooking from scratch is an accessible and enjoyable thing to do.

The Wild Ramp hopes to have this cookbook ready for the holidays so we need to fast track the recipe submission time. Please have recipes submitted by 7p.m.  Friday, October 5.  We ask that you type them if possible or make sure you write legibly….if we can’t read it, we won’t use it. If you are submitting a recipe you got directly from someone else, please let us know. Include your name and phone number and email on the recipe….we will not publish that contact information but we may need to call you to verify something before it can be used. Email them to wildrampmarket@gmail.com or drop them off at the Wild Ramp Market.

The Wild Ramp is a community-supported local foods market located in Heritage Station, Huntington, West Virginia.  Market hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 11-7 and Saturday from 10-4.
