Cash Mob Saturday anticipated at the Wild Ramp!

September 4, 2012

The first flash mob I saw via the wonders of YouTube was the Hallelujah Choir in the Macy’s (old Wanamaker’s store) in Philadelphia that took place October 30, 2010. Since then flash mobs have erupted in many places and have become so well known that a cell phone company used the activity to hawk their product’s better service.

Huntington has its own celebration of the event in the guise of a CASH MOB. Create Huntington’s  Chat N Chew session that meets each Thursday from 5:30-whenever in the lobby of the Frederick (940 4th Avenue) votes to decide which local business will be mobbed the coming month.

This Saturday, September 8 from 2-4pm the Cash Mob will be at the Wild Ramp!!

For those of you who have never participated in prior Cash Mobs, that means you head over there during that time and buy SOMETHING. Be prepared for a crowd. Be patient and happy.

Supporting a local business is a marvelous way not only to show your own “Hometown Pride” but to keep your consumer dollars right here, supporting local people.

In the case of the Wild Ramp which is a non-profit and still 100% volunteer run, the people that will be the beneficiaries of all the anticipated extra cash flow will be the Producers, the farmers and small local businesses that provide the healthy food items for you!

Come join the Mob!!!
